I’m Marcus, a professional gardener with over 20 years’ experience helping gardens thrive in Cheltenham, Bishops Cleeve, and nearby villages. Whether I’m reviving a tired border, restoring a lawn, or reimagining a shaded space, my work is grounded in real experience and a deep love for plants.

I’m the founder of the Bishops Cleeve Gardening Club, where I help lead a vibrant local community of over 13,000 gardeners. I also speak regularly at clubs, events, and private gatherings — sharing advice, plant stories, and practical inspiration through garden talks and workshops.

Beyond the Cotswolds, I host The Shade Gardening Podcast and run the world’s largest shade gardening Facebook group, now with over 313,000 members. My online content reaches more than 6 million people every 90 days, connecting gardeners from across the UK, US, and beyond.

As a Rewilding Ambassador for the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, I’m passionate about naturalistic planting and eco-friendly gardening principles that run through my work and advice.
