My Story
Twenty-five years of gardening, learning and sharing the knowledge that nature has taught me.
My Story
Gardening has been at the centre of my life for more than twenty-five years. During that time, I've worked in private gardens, cared for historic landscapes and learned that the best gardens aren't created by following complicated rules—they come from understanding the natural world. Along the way, I've founded gardening communities, hosted podcasts, written articles and spoken to gardening groups, all with one simple aim: to help more people enjoy gardening with confidence.

What I Believe
Gardening doesn't have to be complicated.
I believe the best gardens come from understanding nature rather than trying to control it. Healthy soil, the right plant in the right place and working with the seasons will always achieve more than chasing quick fixes.
Everything I write, record and speak about is guided by one simple aim: to explain gardening in plain English, helping you understand not just what to do, but why it works.
